Swiss Chard, Tomato and Tuna

Swiss Chard is one of those special leafy vegetables with an interesting flavor. It enhances just about anything it is added to with color, aroma, texture and flavor. Instead of lettuce, we've been adding Swiss Chard to our sandwiches for a delicious change. So far, we've enjoyed with with grilled cheese, hambergers, tuna and tomato sandwiches. 

It's also a great way of adding calcium and other vital minerals, anti-oxidants, fiber, and vitamins to your lunch. Use Chard leaves as wraps for something different, or for the Low Carb menus.
